DARI – the digital real estate ecosystem – in Abu Dhabi was launched with the support of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) to serve as a comprehensive platform that includes all the services of the real estate sector across the Emirate and aims to improve the level of available services, as well as add new services to provide users with an accessible experience to manage all their real estate transactions. Among the new services added to the platform is the Register unit mortgage, which enables you to register a mortgage contract for your unit quickly, efficiently, and safely from wherever you are. To complete a Register unit mortgage, follow these steps:

  • Go to the Services menu from the home page.
  • Choose Financing and Mortgages.

  • A sub-menu will appear, click on Register unit mortgage.
  • On the next page, choose the unit you wish to register a mortgage contract for.

  • The unit details, owners and current mortgage will appear for you to review.

  • A screen will appear for you to select a bank.

  • Upload the application documents.

  • Review the details of the application.

  • A message will appear stating that your mortgage registration application has been sent to the bank for approval.



The bank maker will receive a notification of this, in which case they must complete the mortgage contract by following these steps: 

  • Log in to DARI dari-login 

  • Go to the Applications menu from the home page.

  • Choose the application to be completed. 



  • Review the application and click on Accept.



  • Fill in the mortgage details.



  • Upload the application documents.




  • Review all application details.


  • A message will appear stating that the application has been sent to the bank checker for approval.


The bank checker will receive a notification of this, in which case they must review the mortgage contract and approve it by following these steps: 


  • Go to the Applications menu from the home page.
  • Choose the application to be completed.


  • Review the application details and click on Accept.

  • A message will appear stating that the application has been sent to the concerned municipality for approval.



Once the bank approves the request to register a unit mortgage, a notification is sent, and the initiator must follow the following steps: 


  • Go to the Applications menu from the home page.
  • Choose the application to be completed.
  • Review application data, including property details, then choose the payment method and click on Pay now to pay the amount due. 
  • After completing the payment, you will see a message confirming the successful completion of the payment, and the unit mortgage contract will be issued shortly.
  • Go to the Applications menu from the home page and click on All.
  • Choose the application to be completed.
