You can apply online to give authorization and register a power of attorney (POA) through Dari – the digital real estate ecosystem – as any of the following three categories: owner, legal representative and third party. 

You can add power of attorney to sell or purchase property easily and safely. If you are an owner for less than 21 years, then you will have to inform your legal representative to apply on your behalf. If you are blocked for any reason, as an owner you can get in touch with Dari’s customer support to address the issue.

If you are an owner, you may add power of attorney by following these steps:

• Login to Dari using your Unified number (UID), UAE pass or Emirates ID (EID) number

• Click on “Services” from the home page.

•  then “Authorizations” from the Services list.

•  then select “Register power of attorney” from the submenu

• Select “owner”

Step 1 "Owner Details": it will appear automatically, the owner only needs to add the contact details.

Step 2 "Representative details": Add a representative through their Emirates ID (EID) number or unified number (UID) then click on “Fetch”

• If the representative’s profile already exists on the digital real estate ecosystem Dari: their information will appear automatically and you may edit their email address and mobile phone number only, as well as add the required documents.

• If the representative’s profile does not exist on Dari: you will need to manually enter all their information.

Step 3 " POA Source" There are four sources regarding your Power Of Attorney:

• Abu Dhabi Court: If the power of attorney added is the Abu Dhabi Court, you will have to insert the power of attorney number then click on “Fetch”. The related information will appear automatically, and you will have to add more details and upload the required documents.

• Dubai Court: If the power of attorney added is the Dubai Court, you will have to add the related information manually and upload the required documents.

• Courts inside the United Arab Emirates: If the power of attorney added is a court inside the UAE, you will have to add the related information manually and upload the required documents.

• Courts outside the United Arab Emirates: If the power of attorney added is a court outside the UAE, you will have to add the related information manually and upload the required documents.

Step 4 "Review": initiator in this step can review all the information entered then click on “Submit application”

 When all the above steps have been taken, a message will appear that the application has been sent to the Department of Municipality and Transport to review and approve, and you will be notified once they have done so.
