DARI – the digital real estate ecosystem – in Abu Dhabi was launched with the support of the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) to serve as a comprehensive platform that includes all the services of the real estate sector across the Emirate and aims to improve the level of available services, as well as add new services to provide users with an accessible experience to manage all their real estate transactions. Among the new services added to the platform is the "Register a property mortgage contract," which enables you to register a mortgage contract for your property quickly, efficiently, and safely from wherever you are. To complete a "Register a property mortgage contract," follow these steps:
- Log in to DARI - the digital real estate ecosystem - using your unified number (UN), UAE pass, or Emirates ID (EID) number.
- Go to the "Services" menu from the home page.
- Choose "Financing and Mortgages."
- A sub-menu will appear, click on "Register a property mortgage contract".
- On the next page, choose the property you wish to register a mortgage contract for.
- The property details, owners and current mortgage will appear for you to review.
- A screen will appear for you to select a bank.
- Upload the application documents.
- Review the details of the application.
- A message will appear stating that your mortgage registration application has been sent to the bank for approval.
The bank maker will receive a notification of this, in which case they must complete the mortgage contract by following these steps: -
- Log in to DARI - the digital real estate ecosystem - using your unified number (UN), UAE pass, or Emirates ID (EID) number.
- Go to the "Applications" menu from the home page.
- Choose the application to be completed.
- Review the application and click “Accept.”
- Fill in the mortgage details.
- Upload the application documents.
- Review all application details.
- A message will appear stating that the application has been sent to the bank checker for approval.
The bank checker will receive a notification of this, in which case they must review the mortgage contract and approve it by following these steps: -
- Log in to DARI - the digital real estate ecosystem - using your unified number (UN), UAE pass, or Emirates ID (EID) number.
- Go to the "Applications" menu from the home page.
- Choose the application to be completed.
- Review the application details and click “Accept.”
- A message will appear stating that the application has been sent to the concerned municipality for approval.
Once the bank approves the request to register a property mortgage contract, a notification is sent, and the initiator must follow the following steps: -
- Log in to DARI - the digital real estate ecosystem - using your unified number (UN), UAE pass, or Emirates ID (EID) number.
- Go to the "Applications" menu from the home page.
- Choose the application to be completed.
- Review application data, including property details, then choose the payment method and click “Pay now” to pay the amount due.
- After completing the payment, you will see a message confirming the successful completion of the payment, and the property mortgage contract will be issued shortly.
- Go to the "Applications" menu from the home page and click “All.”
- Choose the application to be completed.
- Review your application details and download certificate.
